Hosting & Server Logs
This website runs on our own, self-administered server (managed with Froxlor). No external website builder and no analytics, advertising or social media services are embedded; fonts, scripts and images are all served from our own server. When you open a page, the web server writes technically necessary access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, HTTP status code, browser type). These logs serve only the secure and reliable operation of the site, are not used for profiling, are not combined with other data, and are deleted after 30 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
This website sets exactly one cookie: it remembers the language you picked in the language switcher. It is only set once you actively choose a language, it contains nothing but the language code (e.g. "de"), and it cannot be traced back to you. Because this cookie is technically necessary to apply a setting you explicitly asked for, no consent is required under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 — which is why there is no cookie banner here. No tracking, statistics or marketing cookies are set.
The Hologramu App
Hologramu runs entirely on your device. The app needs no internet connection, there is no user account and no sign-in. Camera image, tracking data, avatars, scenes and settings stay local on your machine and are transmitted neither to us nor to third parties. We collect no telemetry, usage or crash data, and we run no servers that could hold data about you. Network features you start yourself — such as sending tracking data over VMC to another program — only send to wherever you point them.
Purchases via Steam
The app is distributed through Steam. Purchase and payment are handled exclusively by Valve Corporation as the seller. We receive neither payment nor address data, only aggregated sales statistics from Valve with no personal reference. Steam's own privacy policy applies to the purchase itself.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to the processing of your personal data. An informal email to the address above is enough.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna (dsb.gv.at).
