Minecraft avatars
Stream as your Minecraft character — fetch the skin by player name or upload it.
Getting a skin
- Enter a Minecraft player name and press Fetch — the skin comes from Mojang
- Or load a skin file (PNG)
Classic and slim are both supported, as is the second layer (hat, jacket, sleeves, trousers overlay).
Body shape
Head size, body width, arm length, leg length, height and the gap of the second layer are all adjustable — the preview follows immediately.
Face
Minecraft skins have no blend shapes, so Hologramu works with textures instead:
- One full skin per state (blinking, mouth shapes A/E/I/O/U, emotions)
- Or the procedural default mouth in pixel art, with its own height and colours
Note: The blink wipes from top to bottom, as it does in the game.
Saving
A finished character is saved as an .mcavatar and shows up like a model in
management.
TODO: Screenshots of the import dialog with its live preview.
Note: Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
