Keyframe editor
Click a bone, rotate it, set a keyframe — like a 3D program, only smaller.
Reached through ✎ Build a new animation or by opening an existing one.
How it works
- Click a bone in the viewport (or pick it from the list)
- Tool
R(rotate) orS(scale) - Drag the gizmo
- Auto key writes the keyframe at the playhead
The header
| Element | What for |
|---|---|
| Length (s) | Total length of the animation |
| Grid | The timeline's snap grid — not a sample rate |
| ▶ / ⏸ | Play and pause |
| ◆ Auto key | Every movement becomes a keyframe immediately |
| Pause tracking | Do not let tracking overwrite you while editing |
| 👁 View | Set fully visible → semi-transparent → off |
| Show bones | Displays the bone sticks |
Note: Between keyframes the motion is always interpolated smoothly. The grid only decides where keyframes snap to.
Saving
💾 Save, or simply ← Scene — that saves anyway.
